More than a little of the "old mans" verve. tenacity. and steel are evident in his son. our colleague. HAM. The longest and most difficult days for immigration reform in the 1980s coincided with some personally difficult and stressful days for HAM. But. despite personal discomfort and pain. HAM hung in there and saw it through in the best tradition of the Fish family whose history goes back five generations in American politics.
