Thank you. Mr. President. I wish to thank the Senator from Rhode Island. I rise to support the resolution condemning Iraqs unprovoked attack on Israel. I want to condemn this attack in no uncertain terms. I want to condemn this attack as the Senator from Minnesota. I want to condemn this attack as an American citizen. And I want to condemn this attack as the son of a Jewish immigrant from the Soviet Union. My heart goes out to the Israeli people. Upon hearing of this attack. chills ran down my spine. Mr. President. and I believe it is very important at this moment that we express our full support for the State of Israel.
