Mr. Speaker. I rise In strong support of House Joint Resolution 482 a resolution to proclaim the month of March 1991 "IrishAmerican Heritage Month." I wish to compliment the original cosponsors of this initiative. Representatives THOMAS MANTON and BRIAN DONNELLY for their foresight In offering this historic tribute to the enormous contributions made to this great Nation by the millions of Irish immigrants who have come to our shores and by the tens of millions of their descendents who now number some 42 million. I also wish to commend the American Foundation for Irish Heritage and their hardworking chairman. Mr.
