Can a person working three jobs to put bread on the table for his or her family going to have much time to devote to fine art or great literature or classical music? This issue is. quite frankly. the economic future of our country. The kind of legacy we want to leave our children and grandchildren. If our economy fails to meet the challenges of the 21st century and we fall to leave a vigorous. thriving economy. we wont be able to accommodate the immigrants who want to make their home here. much less provide jobs and futures for the people who already live here.
