It sounds great. but the fact is this $15 billion is a tiny fraction of what we provide military budgets annually without blinking an eye. I would like to eliminate it all if I could. but I would suggest it is not in the interest of the United States to abandon Eastern Europe to the forces pummeling them after the Communist governments finally gave up their power or had it taken away from them. I do not think it is in the interests of the United States to eliminate or to reduce the support we are providing for refugees. I do not believe it is in the interest of the United States to unilaterally just automatically cut $463 million more out of the military accounts. I might personally like to do that over a 2year time period.
