And where are the Members of this body and the other body who pressed for so hard for Contra aid? Will we leave them to die now that they have served their purpose? While the administration is studying. as I read in the press this morning. the possibility of a loan to Nicaragua. while the Congress is arguing over the supplemental appropriations bill. while the U.N. is counting refugees. there are some people. like Mike OCallaghan. who are taking action. I urge the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Thorvald Stoltenberg. I urge President Bush. and I urge all of us here to follow the example of Mike OCallaghan.
