I do believe they should not be forgotten and left to die in the jungles of Honduras. AID. the Agency for International Development. has given over responsibility for the people in the Yemales to the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees. I must say that. at this point. I think that is an unfortunate turn of events. These Contras have given up their weapons. signed a ceasefire. and have been handed over to the United Nations with refugee status. Under the care of AID. each person was allotted 7 ounces of rice per day. That is not much. but it is enough to get by on.
