Session #101 · 1989–91

Speech #1010111574

I thank the gentleman for yielding. Mr. Speaker. I would like to try to bring Members up to date on where we are. what we want to attempt to do this evening and then on into tomorrow. We will have a vote this evening on the immigration bill that affects Chinese students. That should come rather soon. We will try to get these votes up as quickly as we can so that Members will not be held here for long. We will be taking up the conference report on catastrophic health insurance. This is the repeal of catastrophic. I am told that there are Members who would like to call for a vote on that.
