Mr. Speaker. we are here today to consider H.R. 150. H.R. 150 was amended and passed unanimously by the Subcommittee on Immigration. Refugees. and International Law. It was also passed unanimously by the full Judiciary Committee. H.R. 150. as amended at the subcommittee. provides posthumous naturalization for any alien who died as a result of injuries or diseases while on active duty in World War I or II. the Korean war. Vietnam. or during other designated periods of military hostitity. Application must be made by family members or a designated person within 2 years after the date of enactment or after the date of the aliens death.
