Brody. who has recently retired after 40 years of service to the BNai Brith AntiDefamation League [ADL]. I am pleased to be participating today not only because of Mr. Brodys outstanding record of public service to our country. but also because he is a good friend. An examination of Mr. Brodys ascendancy to various positions of respect and Influence in our Nations Capital exemplifies the American dream. He grew up in Brooklyn the son of a garment worker who had Immigrated to this country through Ellis Island. He was educated in our public school system before receiving degrees from City College and the University of Columbia Law School. Upon receiving his law degree.
