But as the gentleman from Michigan mentioned. in the following years and even in the years that I have served in this body. we have given the Coast Guard task after task after task. such as drug interdiction. refugee interdiction. oil spill legislation. cleanup. plastic legislation to clean up plastics. to patrol our seas. highspeed fish interceptions so that we can take care of the pirates from Taiwan.
