The image of Government troops opening fire on Innocent civilians participating in a peaceful protest is repugnant to freedomloving peoples around the world. Tiananmen Square. site of a massive outpouring of support for the basic ideals of freedom. democracy and human rights. was turned overnight Into a bloody massacre of unsuspecting civilians.
