We are not doing anything with the security problems at our embassies. We are cutting into the very core of being able to carry out a foreign policy in this country. We have an immigration bill that we passed last year. and we have a responsibility to enforce that immigration bill and to make sure that there are sufficient law enforcement officers. immigration officers. to carry that out. We passed omnibus drug legislation and we have a responsibility to carry through on that and provide for the law enforcement the American people believe that the Government at all levels has a responsibility to do. So I cannot support that kind of a cut.
