Suchocki. chairman of the Centennial Committee of St. Adalberts Basilica. I am inserting in the RECORD a brief history of the basilica. including its role in ministering to the many Polish immigrants who came to Buffalothe city of good neighborsin the 19th century and settled on its east side. I am also enclosing a copy of an article which appeared in Buffalos AmPol Eagle on April 16. 1987. further detailing this cenlennql observance. I join in congratulating this great institution and its parishioners as they mark this historic occasion and look forward to their continued service to our community and to the improvement of its quality of life.
