Mr. President. our colleague recently offered some enlightening insights into the relationship between U.S. policy in Central America and some of the immigration questions and issues that confront my State and the Nation. In an address before the Commonwealth Club of California. the junior Senator from Illinois brought his exprience as a Member of the Senate Subcommittee on Immigration and Refugee Policy and years of thoughtful analysis of our relations with our neighbors to the south to bear upon the subject of "The Hispanicization of the United States: How It Is Affected by the Situation In Central America."
