Innas death has been a great loss to all who knew her. The struggle is not over. however. Naum was not only refused permission to attend Innas funeral. but he is still being denied an exit visa. He is still recovering from the loss of his dear wife. and his sole desire is to emigrate. The Soviets refusal to cooperate in the case of Naum Melman. as well as in Soviet cancer cases. sheds doubt on the sincerity of their desire to improve relations. I urge the Soviet Government to grant Naum Meiman permission to emigrate to the West immediately.e
