Mr. Sosnick will be presented with the Torch Liberty award accorded to him by the AntiDefamation League of Bnai Brith at a dinner in his honor at the end of this month. The award recognizes Genes leadership in advancing the cause of human rights in his community and in the corporate world. Eugene S. Sosnick was born to Russian Immigrants Melvin and Celia Sosnick in Detroit. MI. on June 4. 1931. The Sosnick family soon moved to San Francisco. where Eugenes father started a tobacco and candy distribution company.
