Mr. Speaker. I rise today to pay tribute to a good friend of mine. a good friend of law enforcement and a good friend of New York. Vincent R. Impellitted. On January 29. we lost a great champion when Vincent passed away. Vincent was born in Sicily. immigrating to New York with his family as a small child. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War I and returned to New York to complete his Fordham Law School degree. while working at night. After serving as assistant district attomey. and maintaining a thriving private practice. Vincent became a law secretary for several New York State Supreme Court justices.
