Jews seeking to practice their religion are still denied this basic human right. The land In which they live muffles the voices of those who speak out for them. The refuseniks themselves are relegated to a life of doubt and persecution. In the New York Times last week Elie Wiesel. the renowned author and Nobel Peace Prize laureate. wrote of the fate of two very courageous refuseniks. Vladimir and Masha Slepak. In Bucks County. PA. there are those who pray for the Slepaks. and all refuseniks. and work for their eventual emigration. Among them are Alexander Slepak and his family of Bensalem. PA.
