In essence they cared for the most important part of our society: our children. During the late sixties. they changed some of their services to better help the community and since that time they have operated such vital community programs as a rape crisis center. family counseling and care management services for the mentally handicapped. Also during this period. they made a commitment to keep helping children and couples by maintaining their adoption service. And they have helped not just American children. but foreign born ones as well. I would especially like to pay tribute to one of the societys most distinguished members: Mrs. Nancy P.
