But let me share with you that the alternative to legalization is to go hunt for them. If you couldnt find them coming in how do you find them to get them out? The alternative to legalization is deportation. And the only way you are going to find the persons to deport is to go find them. And so I have often said to people who insist that this is a very treacherous thing. I say: Are you going to be part of the group that goes to a MexicanAmerican in Brownsville and taps on the door and says. "Are you deportable?" I will skip that procedure. Because if thats what is demanded they can erase my name from this measure. Those that would not allow legalization know the alternative is deportation and hunting for them. That is what we would do. The hunt would be on.
