President. today ought to be a big day. I will say at the outset it seems to me we have many opportunities in line with the prayer this morning to maybe not have a miracle but we might almost complete our action today. I would hope we could do the immigration conference report first thing. after we do a little short continuing resolution so the Government will not shut down at noon. and we need to do that hopefully between now and 9:30 a.m. Then I am still going to believe that Senator PACKWOOD will get unanimous consent to do his little concurrent resolution to take care of some of the errors to make corrections in the tax bill. I would urge my colleagues to give Senator PACKWOOD that agreement.
