They live in internal exile. barred from all human contact. Irma suffers from a rare form of cancer. After the removal of four tumors from her neck. the Soviet doctors feel they can do no more for the fifth and most recent tumor. Inna is seeking permission to emigrate to the West where there is experimental treatment available. I strongly urge the Soviet Union to allow the Meimans to emigrate to Israel.
