I will be very brief and say to the gentleman from Florida that I think he raises appropriate issues for conference. whereas I do think. as the gentleman from California says. a little work needs to be done. I want to commend the gentleman because the issue of how we treat the onceapprehended onceconvicted undocumented worker or person without a status ought not to be allowed to say here is very important. I think the gentlemans effort is a good one and merits inclusion in the bill as it goes to conference. and I support the gentlemans amendments en bloc.
