There was an objection by one member on the other side of the Capitol. on the other side of the aisle. to allowing it to be brought forward. We seem to be cut off from that. Now we have a question of when we are ever going to bring up an immigration bill. This rule does not make the Wilson amendment a fait accompli. it only allows the membership to vote on it. I do not understand why Members continue to say it is going to kill the bill if it happens to be the majority will in the House of Representatives.
