The highway authorization bill is very important. We would hope the House would consent to go to conference. The immigration bill appears to be dead for the year because of failure to act on the House side: transfer of National Airport which has passed the Senate is hung up on the House side. There is some interest in modifying the laws on the books with reference to farm legislation. I have indicated an interest in some changes.
