The rule before us does not prohibit your concerns from being heard. But there can be little doubt that amending the agricultural workers provision will be the bills undoing. and may lead us back to the stalemate we experienced during the last Congress. Those of you who support efforts to adopt the Senates agricultural workers provision bill have a strong voice in the conference committee on this bill. But if you express your views by voting against this rule. there may not be a conference committee. We will all lose if no immigration bill is approved at all. Support the rule on H.R. 3810. the immigration reform bill of 1986.
