I thank the gentleman for yielding me this time. Mr. Speaker. I would like to urge all of my colleagues to vote "yes" on the rule and "yes" on the previous question. We all know that immigration is a complex and troubling issue. It certainly is for me as a southerner and as a conservative. We have a chance now to get immigration reform. let us not blow this opportunity. Immigration reform. as we know. is long overdue. we should have done this a long time ago. Many of the problems we face today are compounded because we have failed to act. Now is our chance to act.
