I thank the gentleman for yielding me this time. Mr. Speaker. as a California Member of the House. I can say that probably the most profound problem in our State as it reflects on our 45 Members here is immigration reform. I accept that. When I appeared before the Rules Committee asking for permission to have an amendment made in order. which. by this rule. was denied. I heard one of the most incredible presentations by colleagues of mine relating to their Schumer proposal that I want to share with my colleagues now. I do not know whether the gentleman from California.
