I simply would like to rise as a member of the committee to say that it is very good to have the Banking Committee play a role in trying to turn the corner on this horrible drug trafficking problem. I just came down from the Rules Committee. and we are talking about immigration reform up there. and one of the prime items of concern. of course. is coming right across this border is the flow of drugs along with illegal aliens. Money laundering is a problem which I hope will be cured in this. I should say that in the committee I voted for this provision but have a little concern.
