This is not complete. but before sine die adjournment we must approve: Reconciliation. appropriations bills. and most likely a continuing resolution. trade legislation. and some form of product liability. We must approve conference reports on: The tax bill. the longterm debt ceiling and the GrammRudmanHollings fix. Superfund. clean water and immigration. if the House passes a bill and the defense authorization bill. We must complete impeachment proceedings for Judge Claiborne. and quite a few nominationsincluding the Supreme Court nominations of Justice Rehnquist and Judge Scaliawhich we will try to do the first week we are back in Washington. As I said earlierit is a daunting list.
