Miami is one of five sites chosen to be part of the networks coverage. Through a satellite hookup from Ellis Island. U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren Burger will administer the Oath of Allegiance to the new citizens at the five selected sites. These new citizens are the most recent Americans who will have a special attachment to Miss Liberty and Ellis Island. Millions of Immigrants came to this country with nothing but the clothes on their backs and the burning desire for freedom in their minds. America gave these people the opportunity to rise as far as their dreams could take them. As a secondgeneration American myself.
