Isaac G. Saye was born in Nantyglo. South Wales on June 12. 1886 to Henry and Catherine Saye. At the age of 9 years. he began his lifelong devotion to the study of music. He graduated from the London College of Music and the Royal College of Organists in 1913. the year he married Mary Hannah Jones. Isaac and Mary were blessed with three sons: William. Idris. and Mostyn. In 1922. the Saye family immigrated to America. He received his Bachelors and master degrees from the Sherwood School of Music in Chicago. IL. where he became a member of the faculty.
