Naums letter confirms our worst suspicions of Innas physical condition. Irma has had four cancer operations and has another tumor growing on her neck. Naums plea must be heeded. We must redouble our efforts to obtain permission for the Meimans to seek medical treatment in the West. I commend my colleague for his work on behalf of the Meimans and strongly urge the Soviets to allow the Meimans to emigrate to Israel.*
