She has had to endure four painful operations to remove cancerous growths on her spine. Modern. more sophisticated medical treatment is available in the West which could help Innas condition. However. the Soviets continue to refuse to allow her to travel to the countries which offer this advanced treatment. The Meimans deserve to live the rest of their lives as comfortably and peacefully as possible. I implore the officials in the Soviet Union to let the Meimans emigrate to Israel.e
