It is the same thing with the Coast Guard. We know the multiple roles of the Coast Guard as they try to take care of boater safety and perform as the long arm of defense in coastal protection. We have been trying to update some of their equipment. working hard to get some more modern cutters and equipment. while at the same time giving them the additional role of drug interdiction and refugee and illegal alien interdiction. In my neck of the woods. both of those are so terribly important. The Coast Guard is working very hard in those areas.
