Traditionally textiles has been the way immigrants have become Integrated into our society. It would be ironic to say the least now to penalize these people by providing additional benefits to the countries they left. Not only are many of its workers from ethnic minorities. but a majority are women. who often are not in a position to move to areas with more job opportunities. and are not available for many types of employment.
