When those agents enter a field. people fly in all directions like scared animals. Many flee because they face deportation and the loss of income to support their families. But many who flee are not illegal aliens. rather. they are U.S. citizens of Hispanic descent who simply panic at the sight of so many agents moving toward them. Moreover. many of those same U.S. citizens are frightened at the prospect of having to prove their citizenship. For these reasons.
