Mr. President. I rise in support of the reauthorization of the Community Health Centers. and Migrant Health Centers Program. I am pleased to Join with my colleagues. Senator HATCH. in support of this bill. which was reported unanimously out of our committee. This legislation before us today will help ensure the continued development and vitality of community based health centers. Community health centers have provided essential health services to those most in need for more than 20 years. Study after study has shown that community health centers provide high quality. cost effective care to those who would otherwise lack access to essential health services.
