I will tell the gentleman a couple other things. We will then have before us. as we had in this Chamber 2 weeks ago. an opportunity to pay for our errors. an opportunity to pay for our mischief and meddling. and you know what this Chamber might well do. as we did 2 weeks ago. say. "No. we are not going to pay. We are not going to pay an adequate sum to resettle these refugees. We are not going to pay the States that have high influxes of people. We will be frugal and we will be careful and we will hit a blow for fiscal responsibility. but we will not show that same kind of financial compassion to the people." Let me just tell my friends in the Chamber. it is one thing to be against communism.
