So often I hear in this Chamber that you folks down there in Florida have a great problem with regard to immigration. My answer is: We do not have a great problem in Florida. that is a national problem. It has got to be addressed right here. That is what we are about to do right here today. Unless we want to give States the right to pass their own immigration law. and abdicate our responsibility. then we had better recognize it right here. I commend the committee.
