Her name is Marina Shenderovich and today she faces the reign of oppression as do so many of her fellow Jews in the Soviet Union. Her situation is one of desperation. The daughter of an engineer and an English teacher. she was refused an emigration visa in 1979 for unstated reasons. As a result. she was forced to curtail her studies at the university.
