Americans have unknowingly helped to provide the means to wipe out the Meskito Indians. suppress religion. and turn thousands of Nicaraguans into refugees. Last year alone. the United States imported $21 million in bananas. $7 million in fresh beef. $2 million in cane sugar ani many other products from Nicaragua.
