Mr. Speaker. if the gentleman will yield further. I think it is important to note that the Indochina refugees who were here are here legally. They have been legally admitted so that we have brought them in through the regular processes of the country. which means that we have processed them in through our economy. The 590.000 I am referring to. which I believe is an accurate figure. are here illegally. which means that they represent a major problem to this country. as the gentleman has pointed out. economically and also represent a major problem to the entire immigration process. the legal process that we have in this country. so that the threat the gentleman refers to later on is indeed a very powerful threat. because we are already seeing elements of it happening and it could become an even more intense problem if as the gentleman points out the Nicaraguan Communists begin to spread their revolution throughout Central America.
