Mr. Wildes has been the champion of human rights in numerous immigration cases. He successfully fought Nixon administration officials who were trying to deport former Beatle John Lennon. and won this celebrated case in 1976. after 5year battle. Years later. he learned that the officials had attempted to deport Lennon as a political vendetta because of the former Beattles antiVietnam War stance. During the Iranian revolution.
