S. 2131. a bill which would temporarily suspend deportation of Salvadoran refugees residing in the United States. This bill does not grant citizenship. It does not grant permanent resident status. It is simply a temporary measure. Now. because of the lateness of the hour. it is unlikely that this important bill will receive the attention it has deserved from the beginning.
