These questions are as follows: Where are those freedoms that were promised by the Sandinista government in Nicaragua only a few years ago? Why is there no freedom of the press in Nicaragua? Why are they repressing the church? How many Miskito Indians have been uprooted from their homes? Had their property pillaged? Their villages burned? How many have been forced into relocation camps or just plain killed? Why have Nicaraguan Jews been forced to emigrate from their homeland? And their property confiscated? Why are not Sandinista leaders content with improving the standard of living of their own people instead of fomenting revolution and spreading communism through Central America?
