I am a cosponsor of House Concurrent Resolution 107. expressing the concern of the Congress for the plight of this small beleaguered community. A similar resolution has already passed the Senate and I sincerely hope that this resolution will soon be enacted by the House. The Jewish community of Ethiopia is one of that yearns to emigrate to Israel to join their loved ones and live a life of greater freedom and religious liberty. The dreams and aspirations of this brave community must not be forgotten and I feel honored to express my solidarity with these courageous and devout people..
