What the Soviets really want we cannot negotiate. we cannot negotiate our freedoms. There are fundamental and divisive differences between our societies. They build walls to contain the many people that would escape their country if they could. we must hire border patrols to keep out the people that want to become Americans. that would like the chance to worship freely. to speak their minds. and to have a voice in their government. The Russian people have never enjoyed. since the Bolshevik revolution the basic rights we have as Americans. They are largely ignorant of what America is all about because the news they read is censored.
