Page 102. after line 5. insert the following new subsection: (d) Subject to the amounts provided in advance in appropriation Acts. the Attorney General shall reimburse a State and a local jurisdiction in a State for the 100 per centum of the costs incurred by such State or jurisdiction for the detention or imprisonment of any alien charged with or convicted of a crime. other than an alien lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence (as defined in section 101(a)(20) of the Immigration and Nationality Act).
